<description>Birdie is Demelza Hills contribution to 'The Big Egg Hunt' which is the charity event presented by Faberge, taking over London's streets for 40 days, building up to the easter weekend, April 2012. 200 artists were chosen from around the world to contribute to this public art charity project.

Hidden in the city, Birdie plays on the familiar form of the golf ball and the relationship between the engineered pattern and the form of the egg, both coming from nature.

<description>Pollination stick is a concept to get the public involved in a pollination project for National Trust gardens. The design is a small laser cut seed stick which has been laster cut from recycled wood and incrusted with plant seeds. The seed stick would me given out by the national trust at garden centers, ticket offices and to its members and used as a promotional tool to engage the public. This could then be planted in the consumers garden or at the national trust site where it was given out.

Dimensions: 10cm tall

<description>This sculptural representation of a family is made from sheet steel in a combination of matt and polished.

Using the heights of the individuals in the family i have also taken inspiration from the upright surrounding of the garden the piece was to be situated in. The columns are uniform in every way apart from their height which gives a sense of belonging together as well as in there environment.

Dimensions: 180cm tall, each column 12cm x 8cm
